Time to Go does not collect any information about you. There are no accounts to create, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers of ours — we operate none, and receive nothing. If you are signed in to iCloud, your countdowns are backed up to your own iCloud account so they reach your other devices. That is Apple's storage, under your Apple Account, and we cannot see inside it.
Your countdowns — their names, times, repeat rules and reminders — are saved in the app's own storage on your device, and synced to the private database of your iCloud account when you are signed in. Private means exactly that: it is readable by you, on your devices, and by nobody else. We have no access to it, no account with which to request it, and no server for it to pass through.
If you would rather nothing left the device, turn iCloud off for Time to Go in iOS Settings under your name, iCloud. The app then keeps everything locally and carries on working.
The app also records the date you first opened it. This is kept on your device and is used only to recognise long-standing users if the app's features ever change.
Alarms. Needed so a countdown you have marked as an alarm can still reach you when your phone is silenced or a Focus is on. Alarms are scheduled by iOS on your device.
Notifications. Needed to deliver the quieter reminders. These are ordinary local notifications, scheduled on your device, and they respect your Focus and silent settings.
Live Activities. Needed to show your next countdown on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. This can be turned off in the app's own settings at any time.
All three are handled entirely by iOS. Declining any of them does not send us any information, because there is nothing to send it to.
When you share a countdown, the app creates a link containing only that countdown's name and time and hands it to iOS to share however you choose. It does not pass through any server of ours, and we never see it.
Time to Go is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including children.
If the app ever begins collecting information — for example if advertising is added in a future version — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described plainly here rather than buried.
